Assassin (Passive Skill) - "Deal amplified damage to enemies when attacking them from behind."

Backstab I (Active Skill) - "Instantly move behind an enemy and attack it one time."

  • Teleport behind the nearest enemy, pot, or barrel and attack them automatically. The skill will target exploding barrels but not teleport to them, causing you to simply attack in the direction of the barrel without you moving
  • Attacks have regular AoE and can therefore hit additional enemies near the target

  • Damage: 120% -> 140% -> 175%

Backstab II (Active Skill) - "Instantly move behind an enemy and attack it three times."

  • Works the same as Backstab I, but does 3 rapid attacks instead of 1. If there is more than one nearby target, it will switch between them, otherwise it will attack the same target repeatedly

Backstab III (Active Skill) - "Instantly move behind an enemy and attack it six times."

Battle Frenzy (Passive Skill) - "8% chance per skill level [Max 80%] to become berserk during close combat."

  • When hit by a melee attack, you have a chance to avoid the attack and become berserk for (?) seconds, increasing your attack damage but lowering your defense

Berserk (Active Skill) - "Greatly increase attack power, but lose some defense."

  • SP: 160 -> 180 -> 200
  • Cooldown: 22.85s -> 28.57s -> 34.28s
  • Duration: 10s -> 20s -> 30s

Blade Storm (Active Skill) - "Deal intense damage and knock back all enemies in range as you whirl and move through them for several seconds."

  • Requires max rank Hurricane II
  • Character must be at least lvl 25 to unlock
  • You repeatedly deal damage about 3 or 4 times per second in a medium sized AoE around you. You can slowly move around during this time, but cannot jump or attack, and you are not invincible during this time (unlike the first game)
  • Unlike what the description says, the skill deals minimal knockback to enemies. However it does stagger them like a normal attack, unless they are an armored enemy or a boss.
  • Can cause heavy lag if many enemies are hit at once

Charge Slash I (Passive Skill) - "Hold down the attack key to gather strength for a fierce attack. Once the charge halo appears, release the attack button to perform a powerful attack that deals heavy damage to an enemy's health and armor."

  • Max rank: 1
  • Character must be at least lvl 10 to unlock
  • The charge takes about 1.5s and is interrupted by taking damage
  • If the attack is timed correctly, the color of the trail behind your weapon slash will be red, and the attack will deal 20x damage (according to an in-game tip). Can fully break a boss's armor in 2 or 3 hits, making it essential for boss fights
  • The timing is very precise; you must attack slightly after the charge halo appears. Attacking before it appears, at the same time it appears, or too long after it appears will cause you to do a normal attack instead
  • When dual wielding, performing a charge attack on your 4th attack in a combo will cause your next attack (Cross Slash) to also get the damage bonus of a charge attack. This is incredibly powerful for damaging bosses and armored enemies. Does not work with the "Final Blows" on other weapon types.
  • When the charge halo appears, it deals damage in a small area around you, staggering enemies for a short time like a normal attack

Charge Slash II (Passive Skill) - "Hold down the attack key longer to gather greater strength for a deadly attack. Once the charge halo appears, release the attack button to perform an extremely powerful attack that deals heavy damage to an enemy's health and armor."

  • Max rank: 1
  • Requires max rank Charge Slash I
  • Character must be at least lvl 15 to unlock
  • Allows you to continue charging for another 1.5s after the first charge halo appears to get another charge halo. The timing is just as precise. The attack does ??x damage.
  • The attack is not very useful as it takes a total of 3s to charge, during which time most enemies will be able to attack you and interrupt it.

Cross Slash (Passive Skill) - "When wielding two falchions, you can strike with both blades at the same time, dealing enhanced damage."

  • Max rank: 9
  • Requires Dual Wield rank 1 or higher
  • Character must be at least lvl 6 to unlock
  • Works with any dual wielded weapons, not just dual falchions
  • Does two simultaneous attacks, each with bonus damage
  • If a charge attack is performed on the 4th attack in a combo, Cross Slash will get the same damage bonus as a charge attack, dealing extreme damage
  • Extra damage per skill level: 10% (Max 90%)

Damage Reflection (Passive Skill) - "There is a chance that some of the damage dealt to you is also dealt to the attacker."

  • Chance per skill level: 10% (Max 50%)

Dash (Active Skill) - "When wielding two weapons, summon a powerful force that prevents all damage and propels you forward at great speed."

Deflection (Active Skill) - "When actively defending with a shield, enemy damage to HP is absorbed to your SP instead. If you actively defend just before the enemy attack hits, you recover some HP and SP, and can deal damage to enemy armor."

  • Requires Master of Defense rank 1 or higher
  • Character must be at least lvl 6 to unlock
  • On perfect block, entirely negate the incoming attack and recover 5% max HP and 7% max SP per skill rank (Max 15% HP and 21% SP). Recovery is reduced to 10% (?) of its normal effectiveness when perfect blocking ticks of poison damage.
  • SP: 60 -> 40 -> 22 on cast, 4x this cost per second when held, and 50% of damage taken while blocking
  • Cooldown: None (can be spammed)
  • While blocking, take 20% damage from all sources (even if your shield isn't facing the attack) and negate backstab damage bonus from enemies.
  • Spamming the skill can still yield perfect blocks, so with enough SP, spamming the ability is a very easy method of HP and SP recovery.

Divine Blessing (Active Skill) - "All your attacks deal maximum damage for a short time. Deal increased damage to enemy armor."

  • Deals 100% (?) increased damage to armor while active
  • SP: 230 -> 240 -> 250
  • Cooldown: 60s -> 57.14s -> (?)
  • Duration: 10s -> 15s -> 20s

Dual Wield (Passive Skill) - "Wield two weapons with ease. Gain great attack speed, but lose some attack power and defensive capability. Higher skill levels amplify damage."

  • Max rank: 25
  • Character must be at least lvl 6 to unlock
  • Damage per skill level: 30% (first level), then 2% (Max 78%)
  • The game averages the damage of your two weapons, then multiplies that value by the current damage multiplier. For example if you have one weapon with 100 - 200 damage and another with 150 - 300 damage, it would average them to 125 - 250, then multiply that value by your current damage multiplier (based on skill level). This means that although you can wield two weapons, each weapon essentially only does 15% - 39% of its normal damage

Elemental Wave (Active Skill) - "Channel wild elemental magic to blast enemies in front of you with thunder, fire, ice, or poison."

  • Max rank: 3
  • Requires max rank Force Wave
  • Character must be at least lvl 15 to unlock
  • Casts a different elemental attack based on the element of your weapon. If dual wielding, the element is based on the weapon that isn't in your shield slot.
  • Fire Element: Fires 3 fireballs in a 60 degree cone in front of you. Each one travels through enemies and damages them once.
  • Poison Element: Works identically to the fire element, but spawns green fireballs that disappear after hitting one enemy. Guaranteed poison proc on hit.
  • Ice Element: Spawns 3 lines of ice spikes in a 60 degree cone in front of you. Each line consists of 6 spikes which are spawned one after another. Enemies can be hit by each spike in a line, but can only be hit by spikes from one line at a time, for a max of 6 possible hits (although 2 - 3 hits is more likely). Each hit is a guaranteed ice proc.
  • Thunder Element: Works identically to the ice element, but spawns lightning bolts instead of ice spikes. Each hit is a guaranteed thunder proc.
  • SP: 230 -> 260 -> 300
  • Cooldown: 5.14s -> 4.57s -> 4.00s
  • Damage: 120% -> 140% -> 180%

Enlightenment (Passive Skill) - "+5 to all attributes per upgrade level." (Max 50)

Fire Elemental (Active Skill) - "Summon a Fire Elemental to hover around you and damage all enemies in range."

  • Summons 1 -> 2 -> 3 small fireballs that orbit very close to you. Enemies that are in contact with them take damage twice per second. Multiple fireballs can hit the same enemy, and fireballs can hit multiple enemies at a time if they're in range

Force Globe (Active Skill) - "Blast all enemies in range with an explosion of wild magic."

  • Character must be at least lvl 25 to unlock
  • After a short animation, creates an explosion around you that damages enemies in a large area.
  • SP: 90% -> 96% -> 99%
  • Cooldown: 77.14s -> 78.57s -> 80.00s
  • Damage: 400% -> 700% -> 1000%

Force Wave (Active Skill) - "Hurl a wave of pure energy from your weapon to damage enemies in front of you."

  • Max rank: 3
  • Character must be at least lvl 6 to unlock
  • Travels across the screen and goes through all enemies and walls. Has heavy knockback, which can cause enemies to be hit by it multiple times (around 2 - 6 times)
  • SP: 200 -> 220 -> 260
  • Cooldown: 5.14s -> 4.57s -> 4.00s
  • Damage: 10% -> 20% -> 35%

Guardian (Active Skill) - "Summon an elemental Guardian to protect you from harm."

  • Max rank: 3
  • Character must be at least lvl 15 to unlock
  • Summons 1 -> 2 -> 3 guardian wisps that orbit very close to you. When you would take damage, a guardian takes the damage instead, causing you to take 0 damage. Each guardian has a set amount of damage it can take before despawning
  • Attacks against you while you are protected will not stagger you or interrupt your own attacks
  • SP: 200 -> 300 -> 400
  • Cooldown: 57.14s -> 62.85s -> 71.42s
  • Duration: 40s -> 80s -> 120s

Heroic Stamina (Passive Skill)- "Allows you to carry more weight."

  • Max rank: 10
  • Character must be at least lvl 5 to unlock
  • Extra weight per skill level: 100 (Max 1000)

Hurricane I (Active Skill) - "A spinning attack that damages all enemies in range."

  • Max rank: 3
  • Character must be at least lvl 6 to unlock
  • The attack hits all enemies in a small area around you and has heavy knockback

Hurricane II (Active Skill) - "A more powerful spinning attack that damages and knocks back all enemies in range."

  • Max rank: 3
  • Requires max rank Hurricane I
  • Character must be at least lvl 15 to unlock
  • The first attack pulls in enemies, and the second attack has heavy knockback. Both attacks hit all enemies in a small area around you

Inner Strength (Passive Skill)- "Increase HP & SP recovery speed."

  • Max rank: 10
  • Character must be at least lvl 10 to unlock
  • Extra HP/SP regain per skill level: 2 (Max 20)
  • HP/SP recovery (from all sources) is applied every 2s, instead of every 1s like you'd expect, so this skill actually gives +1 HP/SP per second (Max +10 per sec)

Last Stand (Passive Skill) - "There is a chance that lethal damage will reduce your HP to 1 instead of killing you."

  • Character must be at least lvl 5 to unlock
  • Chance per skill level: 10% (Max 50%).

Life Force (Active Skill)- "Gain temporary HP & SP, and a chance to revive from death one time."

  • Max rank: 3
  • Character must be at least lvl 30 to unlock
  • Gain (?)% -> (?)% -> 100% max HP for the duration. The SP bonus seems to be bugged, slightly decreasing max SP instead of increasing it
  • (?)% -> (?)% -> 100% chance to revive once when killed during the duration
  • SP: 700 -> 1000 -> 1300
  • Cooldown: 300s -> 385.71s -> 471.42s
  • Duration: 300s -> 600s -> 900s

Master of Defense (Passive Skill) - "While equipped with a shield, you can recover HP from each successful active defense."

  • Max rank: 10
  • Character must be at least lvl 6 to unlock
  • Extra defense per skill level: 10 (Max 100). The game says +10% defense but it's actually +10
  • "Active defense" seems to refer to the Deflection active skill, which is unlocked after this skill. However, skill points in this ability do not affect HP recovery from perfect blocks, only skill points in Deflection affect it. So the only thing this skill does is give +10 defense per rank

Meteor Storm (Active Skill) - "Call upon ancient forces to rain meteors upon enemies in target area. Those who attempt to escape judgement will be severely punished."

  • Max rank: 3
  • Requires max rank Force Globe
  • Character must be at least lvl 45 to unlock
  • Spawn many meteors in random locations nearby. While active, you cannot perform any other action, but you are invincible for the duration
  • SP: 99% -> 99% -> 99%
  • Cooldown: 77.14s -> 78.57s -> 80.00s
  • Duration: 9s -> 12s -> 16s

Protection from Evil (Passive Skill) - "Enhanced resistance to cursing magic."

  • Max rank: 10
  • Character must be at least lvl 15 to unlock
  • "Cursing magic" are debuffs that skeleton mages can apply to you. There are multiple different curses, each with a different green icon that shows up above your HP bar when applied. The curses last 2 minutes and decrease your attack or defense by 50% (?), or lower your speed. They can also be cleansed with a Hex Cleanser from Susan
  • Chance per skill level: 6% (Max 60%)

Shield Bash I (Active Skill) - "Strike enemies with your shield, crushing their armor and knocking them back."

  • Max rank: 3
  • Requires Deflection rank 1 or higher
  • Character must be at least lvl 15 to unlock
  • Deals extra damage to armor
  • SP: 100 -> 110 -> 120
  • Cooldown: 5.71s -> 5.71s -> 5.71s
  • Damage: 120% -> 140% -> 175%

Shield Bash II (Active Skill) - "Strike enemies heavily two times with your shield, crushing their armor and knocking them back."

Summon Storm (Active Skill) - "Summon a storm elemental. It obeys your commands, attack all enemies in its path. Use the mouse to control its movement."

  • Character must be at least lvl 45 to unlock
  • Is identical to Bladestorm but lasts longer, can be moved around independently from you, and you are free to move and attack while it is active

Tiger Jump (Passive Skill) - "Avoid all damage when starting a jump."

  • Max rank: 1
  • Character must be at least lvl 5 to unlock
  • Can be used avoid all forms of damage, even poison damage, traps, etc.
  • Essential for boss fights
